New England Wedding Video Map - 2017 Edition

I know its 4 months in to 2018 already, but I usually don't get nostalgic until its about time for the anniversary of one of my couples from the previous year. That time is this weekend, when it is Jenn & Ryan's one year!

We want to thank all of my 2017 couples for placing their trust to capture their precious memories in our hands, and for giving us the opportunity to venture all over New England to capture their amazing weddings!

All the Wedding Venues

Our Favorites and a Brief Review

Each venue has its own benefits and special meaning for a couple. These are our own biased favorites from the last year. This is by no means a comprehensive list of excellent wedding venues of New England, and we film at different venues every single year :) Generally we favor places that have: 1. Beautiful outdoor spaces on their grounds 2. Somewhere for couples to get ready and guests to stay 3. A great indoor space or tent for both the reception and for the case of rain for the ceremony. We have featured one catholic church as well since a good portion of our couples choose to be married in the Catholic faith.

The Preserve at Chocorua

We LOVE the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This estate nestled near the mountains is charming, has many different landscape options with a Lake and  Mountain as a backdrop, and has cabins for guests on site. Their rustic red barn sadly burned down a couple weeks after we filmed here, but they are hard at work rebuilding something even better than before and we can't wait to see it!

The Estate at Moraine Farm

Calling this a farm is misleading of how upscale feeling and beautiful this venue and location is. Situated right on Wenham Lake with a lovely garden and huge property to explore, the outdoor space is nothing short of perfect. Inside the bridal suite is spacious and well decorated, with a nice space for cocktail hour in the same building and on a massive porch that looks out on the water. The coordinator and wait staff are courteous, efficient, and always on their A game.

St. Cecilia's - Catholic Church

Mark, the church organizer (and he sings!) and Father John are welcoming and kind. His homilies have a personal touch, and he brings a sincerity and thoughtfulness to the ceremony that everyone would hope for. The lighting in the church is perfect, everything is spacious, and it is air conditioned which is amazing in the summer.

Special Mention: Plimoth Plantation

On the South Shore of Massachusetts but feels miles and centuries away, yes please! Who doesn't love some farm animals and optional costumed pilgrims at this historic location? We are a huge sucker for a stunning botanic garden for the ceremony, and the educational aspect. However, there is no bridal suite, and the massive and uneven property that can be a challenge for guests with disabilities to navigate. We had a blast filming here though, and all staff members were amazing!
