On 4th of July at 8am we met up with Alyssa and Travis on the harborwalk of Boston's Seaport. It was only them, their dogs, me, Allie the photographer, Nicole the officiant, and Alyssa's childhood friend/beauty stylist Heather. In true elopement style, we got straight to the point and they exchanged their down to earth vows with some minor pauses for air traffic.

What followed was a meandering walk about day dictated by the whims of the weather, sun, and fireworks schedule that evening. We stopped at Envoy for some brunch, and on an impulse decided to go out for a harbor cruise that afternoon after a brief intermission.

On the cruise, we were surprised with an interactive sail experience! They even got to steer the boat for a bit. After the adventure on the water, we followed our stomachs to a dinner in the North End, where pasta greeted us as warmly as the sun. Finally, after a spectacular sunset, we found a spot on the rooftop of a parking garage to watch the fireworks over the Commons. Nothing says true love like standing arm-in-arm in the sideways rain in a parking garage.
