A lot of times I hear about speechless tears shed during a proposal, or an empathic yes! But Emily responded "Are you f***ing kidding me?" to Matt's proposal, and I think that f***ing awesome.
Because they hired me 16 months before their wedding, I was fortunate enough to follow along Emily and Matt's escapades on social media for quite a while. And seeing them get ready for their wedding day was kind of amazing. From their hilarious "romantic letters" they wrote each other during their weekend seminary course, to their respective bach parties, let's just say I KNEW their wedding day would be an absolute blast.

And a BLAST IT WAS! The party was already started when we all showed up for getting ready.
The ceremony took place at St. Anne’s Church in Quincy, MA. Despite a very minor ring scare, it was a beautiful Catholic service.
Finally the reception was, legendary!! This is the part of the day they were most looking forward to and I can see why with the dancing skills they have. With the power vested in me by nobody, I hereby crown Emily and Matt the dancing Queen and King.
They are both wonderful, caring, and kind people and so absolutely perfect together. And we thank them so much for sharing their joy with the rest of us.
